I didn't get called in yet again today for work, so I decided to buckle down and get myself in order. I had a very busy day of running errands, cleaning the house, etc.
Not too much to report, but I did carpe diem a little bit...instead of taking the bus into town for the 2nd time today, I decided to find the pathway behind my house that follows the Thames all the way into Oxford. So that is exactly what I did. It took me about 30min to walk into town, which is probably half the time it would take me if I followed the road. Plus the pathway is WAY more scenic...
I've had a busy, but productive day. Will be ready for some work tomorrow, so fingers crossed for that - although I have the guaranteed income, it still is nice to be doing something everyday.
