Le Fatigue...

I am so tired! I have NO idea how mothers (and fathers) work all the live long day and still are able to come home and tend to their children. It is something that amazes me knowing how feel when I come home after a day of teaching, and I'm a P.E teacher!

I had a Year 4 class today (equivalent to Grade 3 in Canada). They were good for the most part. I realized though, I am definitely a high school teacher. I love children, but there is just something you have to have to be able to teach primary students all day, and I don't think I have it...plus I feel like Goliath around them!

I don't have any photos to share with you today, but I thought instead I would share some common English words/phrases that I find myself saying more and more each day:

- "You lot...stop messing about"
- "Right then, you ready?"
- "Brilliant work!"
- "Fantastic"
- "Were you being sensible?"
- "Cheers"
- "Off you go then"

I'm sure there are SO many more...I said all those about a million times today.

Oh, funny story I will leave you with. I got home from work around 4:00pm and decided to go grab a few groceries for supper. It was a gorgeous afternoon, so I grabbed my sunglasses and off I went (about a 5min walk to the grocery store). I was maybe 10 - 15min in the store...and I came out to a terrential hail storm! It was unbelieveable...and then I remembered I was in England. Mini-golf balls of rain were smacking my face for the entire 5 min...I was absolutely drenched when I got home. At least now I can say I have fully experienced the unpredictability of the English weather!

Alright, I am off to go relax! I have nothing pre-booked for tomorrow, but a half day on Thursday with Year 3s.

Much love! xo
