The Most Beautiful Noise In The Entire World...

...a babba's laugh! Namely Oscar and Jessie! My goodness, hearing these 2 children laugh is the most precious sound ever - completely melts my heart!

I was in Wallingford last night to spend time with my fav 'adopted cousins' and celebrate my first Bonfire night (aka Guy Fawkes Night) in the UK. We went to a house party in a little community between Wallingford and Oxford. They had fireworks and the biggest...I'm talking HUGE...bonfire I have EVER seen!! Growing up in the country, I have seen some good bonfires in my day, but this one was like all of those 24 years worth of bonfires put into one! Very cool to see such a thing.

It was very cool to watch a fireworks display with an almost 2 year old boy who politely asks for "more please" when they stop, and contently laughs at the display! A fun evening was had - I am very glad I got to spend it in such great company!

Today, we went for a walk into Wallingford and down to the Thames to feed the ducks. Oscar had fun jumping in the puddles and getting his trousers nice and muddy, as little boys do! After an afternoon of cheese on toast and hockey (could my life BE any better over here!?) Catherine and I took the babies swimming. My goodness - I have never seen 2 little babies enjoy the water SO MUCH before. Oscar loved it, especially going for a ride under the water!

Friday night, I had a quiet night in with my roomies. We did - what is becoming a typical Friday night - pizza, wine and comedy tv. A very nice and relaxing way to end the week.

I am pre-booked in for Wednesday and Friday so far - which is LOVELY because I can get more sleep and know exactly where I am heading.

I am off to have some tea, relax and go to bed. I hope you all had a great weekend - can't wait to see what my aunties and cousins dressed up as for their halloween party! Did MM show up!?

Much love! xo
